NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Town of Milford, New York Town Hall 2857 St. Hwy. 28 Portlandville, NY  13834 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board for the Town of Milford at the Milford Town Hall, 2859 St. Hwy. 28, Portlandville, NY 13834, on the 21st day of May, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. regarding changes and additions to the Town’s current zoning ordinance.  The draft proposed changes include revisions to Sections 6.1-2 and 5.3-2, in addition to the proposed regulation of Campgrounds in the RA zoning district. Copies of the proposed changes shall be available at the time of the hearing and shall be available at times prior to and after the hearing at the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours for the purpose of inspection or procurement by interested persons. Public Hearing Notice

The Town of Milford Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 starting at 6:00 PM at the Milford Town Hall in Portlandville. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to present and receive public comments on a proposed Local Law. Local Law #3, 2024 is a proposed local law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established under General Municipal Law Section 3-c for the tax year commencing January 1, 2025. The proposed local law is available at the Town of Milford Clerk's Office at the Milford Town Hall in Portlandville during the clerk's office hours.

The Town Of Milford - Zoning Ordiance

There is hereby established a comprehensive zoning plan for the unincorporated area of the Town of Milford which
plan is set forth in text and map that constitute this ordinance. This plan is adopted in accordance with Sections 261,
262 and 263 of the Town Law in order to promote the public health, safety, morals and the general welfare of the
town, to provide adequate light, air, and convenience of access, to prevent the overcrowding of land, to avoid undue
concentration of population, to lessen congestion in the streets, to secure safety from fire, flood, panic and other
dangers, and to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks and other public
requirements.
